Jessica Q. Chen is a photographer and videographer who specializes in digital storytelling and visual journalism. She was a recipient of the 2010 Medill National Security Journalism Fellowship, and her multimedia project that covered climate change as a U.S. national security threat won a 2011 Online New Association award for best Student Multimedia Feature. Jessica graduated with her master's from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, with an emphasis in investigative reporting. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, the Miami Herald, Entrepreneur magazine and Businessweek. Jessica is interested in documentary film, social media and the Middle East. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and is based in Washington, D.C.
